Valerie Frankel has collaborated with actors, singers, medical doctors, psychologists, comedians, political figures, business people, influencers and designers on 40 books, including 7 New York Times bestsellers. Her two #1s: Melania and Me by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, and Unhinged by Omarosa Manigault Newman. Her most recent NYT bestselling collaborations: What In the World?! by Leanne Morgan and We Might Just Make It After All by Elyce Arons.
Before becoming a ghostwriter, Frankel, was an award-winning journalist and author. She’s written 21 books under her own name, novels, memoirs, and self-help guides. Throughout the ’90s, she served as Articles Editor at Condé Nast’s Mademoiselle magazine.
In 2023, Frankel pivoted to agenting, joining Aevitas Creative Management, the largest independent literary agency in New York. Now, along with ghostwriting, she’s putting her decades of editorial experience to work by helping other writers realized their dream of becoming authors. She’s based in Brooklyn, and loves cats.
