In 2016, Ryan co-authored his first New York Times Best Seller, OpTic Gaming: The Making of eSports Champions. The project has since been optioned for film and television development. He then worked with controversial former NBA basketball player Metta World Peace to co-author his 2018 memoir, No Malice.
Ryan has since ghostwritten and collaborated on over 25 published books. His titles cover a variety of topics with a focus on business, self-help, and memoir. He continues to work with executives, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, celebrities, athletes, and social media influencers who want to bring their stories to the page.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Ryan began his writing career working as a freelance journalist for various newspapers in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, covering sports and local politics. Having always been drawn to the world of film and television, he then moved to Los Angeles to earn his MFA in screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University. After graduating, he worked extensively in the film and television industry for over a decade before focusing primarily on ghostwriting and collaborating with authors on their nonfiction books.
