Managing Director, Bookwriting Group
The first is the Managing Director of our Bookwriting Group. Over the past year, we have seen a major expansion of this division and are seeking a professional who can continue and increase that trajectory.
In this role, we are looking for a dynamic, well-connected relationship-builder and manager who can help us expand our brand, cultivate new sources of nonfiction book clients, and take full advantage of our unique capacity to custom-match editorial talent with authorial need. This position is ideally suited for a literary agent or business-savvy editor who is already versed in the art of smart storytelling and eager for a new challenge with high-reward potential.
Managing Director, Thought Leadership Group
We are also seeking a Managing Director for our Thought Leadership Group. This role requires an entrepreneurial content pro to lead and grow this sector. This role requires a dynamic, well-connected relationship-builder and manager who can help us expand that brand, cultivate new sources of business, and take full advantage of our unique capacity to custom-match editorial talent with content need. This position is ideally suited for a PR, media, or publishing maven who is already versed in the art of smart content and is eager for a new challenge with high reward potential.
The managing director (MD) will work closely with the agency’s president to: raise awareness of our company in general and deepen our connections within the PR/media/publishing space in particular; identify and close new business opportunities; and oversee the matchmaking process for new clients in their practice area.
Director, Creative Writing Division
We are also seeking a Director for our Creative Writing division. This relatively new, fiction-centric sector of our business was established earlier this year, and the Director will be expected to build upon that strong foundation.
Like the Managing Director of the Bookwriting Group, this role will work closely with leadership to raise awareness of our Creative Writing Group in general and deepen our relationships within the fiction side of the publishing industry in particular; identify and close new business opportunities; and oversee the matchmaking process for new clients in their practice area.
