Jennifer Bassett is a marketing, communications, and content strategy pro for Fortune 500 brands, who began her career as a book scout, agent, and editor.
Bassett started her Marketing and Communications career as Senior Manager, Global Brand Communications for Interbrand, where she authored Interbrand’s Best Global Brands reports and oversaw Interbrand’s global content marketing strategy. After Interbrand, she was Havas Worldwide New York’s first content strategy director. She worked on websites, apps, campaigns, and social media strategies for brands that include IBM, Dos Equis, OppenheimerFunds, Lysol, Volvo, and many more. After Havas, she was Senior Managing Editor and Content Strategist for Memorial Sloan Kettering, where she worked on the new website and patient portal launch, MSK’s award-winning More Science. Less Fear campaign, MSK’s partnership with IBM Watson, and ongoing communications for the brand. Most recently she’s been consulting for top agencies on projects for Samsung, McKinsey, USA Today, and Hilton.
As Gotham Ghostwriter’s Director of Brand Strategy, Jennifer marries her marketing, branding, and strategy experience with her publishing and branded content background to help build the Gotham brand.
