Hannah completed her BA in Sociology at Brooklyn College, where she received multiple awards for her research on gender, language, immigration, and identity. Her creative work has been published by Em-Journal Online and the Academy of American Poets. She has also received awards for her short stories and poetry, including the Academy of American Poets University and College Prize and the Goodman Short Story Award. She has taught writing for at-risk high school students and organized performance events to raise money for homeless LGBT youth.
Her passion for writing extends back to childhood and her devotion to that passion is what brought her to join the Gotham Ghostwriters team, where she serves as the main point of contact for writers, manages the social media, and handles billing and administration. She spends her spare time writing poetry, reading (Judith Butler, James Baldwin, and dystopian novels), and listening to NPR while baking.
